I'm the voice and personality behind Brooke's Happy Place!
I am a cajun at heart and have grown my roots in the great state of South Carolina. I am a freelance content marketing and branding strategist who loves to create, collaborate, and innovate.
I am an enneagram 7w8 who enjoys trying new things, looking on the bright side, and taking on challenges. I've never met a stranger and love connecting others together. I enjoy organizing and streamlining processes (guilty...yes, I use the Marie Kondo folding method).
When I am not creating or designing, you can find me cuddled up with my two pups and boyfriend watching 'I Love Lucy,' in the kitchen cooking my favorite meals to share with family and friends, or glued to a book.
I’m a 4-year-old Italian greyhound. Trash enthusiast and an avid runner. I enjoy early mornings, long naps throughout my day, and barking at trespassers from my porch. You can catch me on Instagram @HootiesMomHasGotItGoingOn
I’m an 8-year-old miniature pinscher and the traditional older child. As you can tell, I’m the more patient and obedient child. When I’m not rolling my eyes at my brother, you can catch me sunbathing or tucked away under freshly clean blankets.
My main squeeze, but don’t tell Hootie that. He’s the Chandler to my Monica, the Ricky to my Lucy, the Ben to my Leslie, and the Kristoff to my Ana (if you got all of those references, we need to be friends asap). He’s a finance director with two degrees and a CPA license, literally the smartest person I know. And he has the biggest heart of gold I’ve ever seen.
Since birth, my mother has always been my best friend and the strongest woman I have ever met. She has a kind, giving heart and loyalty like no other. Her perseverance and tenacity have gotten her so far in life and allowed her to overcome its challenges, of what most would fall submissive to.
She is always encouraging me to pursue what makes me happy and embrace my uniqueness, never to flow downstream and follow a crowd. And for all those life lessons, I am forever grateful and forever indebted.
So this one is for you mom.
